1. Participants must meet the eligibility requirements listed on the event website and register for the hackathon.

  2. Projects must be substantially built during the hackathon. You may use existing libraries, frameworks, APIs, datasets, templates, and general-purpose code you've written previously.

  3. AI tools are required, such as AI coding assistants. However, you are still responsible for your project and should be able to explain how it works.

  4. Do not submit work that infringes someone else's intellectual property or violates the terms of a third-party service.

  5. Projects must be submitted as outlined at the event by the submission deadline announced by the organizers.

  6. Projects may be built individually or in teams. The team limit is 10 people.

  7. The grand prize is $1,000. Organizers have the right to disqualify a team from the prize at their discretion.

  8. Projects will be judged based on the problem being addressed, the quality of the product and MVP, execution, potential usefulness, and the quality of the final demo.

  9. Participants must follow the Blank Page Hackathon Code of Conduct and the rules of the Microsoft NERD Center.

  10. The organizers may disqualify projects that violate the rules or the Code of Conduct.

Code of Conduct

Blank Page Hackathon is committed to providing a welcoming environment for everyone.

Harassment of participants, organizers, volunteers, mentors, judges, or other attendees is not tolerated. This includes offensive comments, unwanted sexual attention, intimidation, stalking, unwelcome physical contact, and other inappropriate behavior.

Participants asked to stop inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately.

If you experience or witness harassment or another safety concern, contact a member of the Blank Page organizing team.

The organizers may warn or remove anyone who violates this Code of Conduct.
